Never in Windham Mountains 46 year history have there been so many big ticket items introduced in a single year. During the off-season, the resort completed over $5 million in improvements for the 06-07 season for you to enjoy.
The bowl between Wraparound and Wicked now has three new trails tying together the trail network into a much more cohesive experience. Two of the new trails also provide access to a newly positioned base terminal at G Lift. And of course, all this new terrain sports state-of-the-art snowmaking equipment.
The G lift triple chair has been replaced with a high-speed, detachable quad cutting the ride time to the top of East Peak in half. The top and bottom stations on G Lift have been repositioned to improve loading flow.
The C lift has been upgraded to a faster, more modern triple chair. C Lifts top and bottom stations and towers have also been moved and the lift now spans a greater distance for easier access.
The Mountain Top Adventure Park now has a 60 X 120 ice skating rink with lights for night use to compliment the tubing experience at Mountain Adventure Park. A new timber frame warming and rental center will service the rink. The tubing and skating areas are linked by a network of lighted paths.
