Alta is located within a 45 minute drive from the Salt Lake City International Airport. We are situated at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, Base elevation 8550 feet. Our terrain is 25% Beginner, 40% Intermediate and 35% Advanced. We are recognized for our light, dry snow, averaging over 500 inches a season. Awesome views, varried terrain and a friendly atmosphere pervail.
