Description
Canterbury’s Mt Hutt Ski Area typically receives some of the lightest and driest powder in Australasia and enjoys a long, June – October ski season.
Close to Christchurch city and with more than 365 skiable hectares, Mt Hutt offers variety and every facility for snow sports enthusiasts. A vast mountain offering a diverse mix of terrain, all levels of skier and rider can have an awesome, winter experience here.
A six seater chairlift, a dedicated quad chair, a triple chair and a beginners’ Magic Carpet offers access to a fantastic mix of terrain that includes a terrain park and half pipe for skiers and riders of all levels.
Scheduled to open on June 9, new automated snowmaking systems will ensure the best possible snow conditions for the 2007 season.
Mt Hutt is family and beginner friendly and features an award winning Snowsports School and a licensed Skiwiland Creche. Children six and under ski for free.
